Hello Ben, thank you for talking with us. How did you come up with the name Dosage?

"Well originally I used to produce in a duo called Dosage. Then I had a release under the name just as a solo track. So eventually I just kinda took it over."

What would you call your genre of music?

"Aqueous bass house."

What is your favourite track that you have made and why?

"Couldn't really pick a favourite. I'm gonna say 'What' as its had the most support from different artists."

Have you got any gigs you are really excited for?

"I'm playing a massive squat party on new years. Which also happens to be my birthday. So really looking forward to that."

Have you got any new tracks up for release?

"I've got an EP coming out on icarus' new label 'we are fly boy' which is gonna include a variation of stuff."

What’s your favourite thing on the blog?

"Jazz That Nobody Asked For it's a pretty cool animation"

If you could only listen to one album for the rest of your life, which would it be?

"I don't even know if I could pick an album to listen to the rest of my life. I get sick of music really easily."

What is your favorite computer game?

"The one I seem to be waisting most of my time on at the moment is definitely GTA 5."

What city would you be living in if you could live anywhere?

"I'm pretty happy living in Bristol at the moment. Though in the future I've thought about moving to Berlin for a few months."

What is your most visited website?

"Typical producers answer here but probably soundcloud."

What is your favourite VST?

"Mainly I just use logics built in plugins. But it would probably be massive as I seem to be able to create crazy bass sounds with it."

If you could collaborate with one artist, who would it be and why?

"Amon Tobin. There would be so much I could learn from him. He's probably the most technical producer alive at the moment."

What are your favourite sweets?

"Fudge bars. 75p from Tesco. Bargain!"

Thank you for the mix tape, is there anything special on there that we should be looking out for?

"Probably any of my latest ones hidden away. Also a few exclusives from some of the bear fresh guys."

What was the last film that you watched?

"I watched Pi again the other night. Directed by Darren Aronofsky."

Who or what has been the biggest influence for you in your music?

What has been your most extravagant purchase?

"My comic book and science fiction novel collection. "

What's next for Dosage?

"Hopefully I'm going to move onto bigger and better things. Hopefully working towards a live show with projection mapping. One can dream."

Thank you Dosage!
